Physical and psychological safety go hand in hand, and are a vital part of genuine high performance and human flourishing. If deficits exist in either area, the system suffers. My Contact Compass framework helps organizations address key areas such as situational awareness, de-escalation, violence prevention and threat assessment, and active violence response with an empowering and trauma-informed approach to education and consultation. I also help organizations in reviewing policy and procedure and assessing their physical properties for safety and security vulnerabilities.
When situations are uniquely tense or complex, I can provide real time support to help clients navigate and resolve conflict. This might involve formal mediation, but in many cases a series of empathic and effective facilitated conversations can get things unstuck.
In addition to the group settings I often present to, I am happy to work with individual leaders to enhance their interpersonal engagement still. My interpersonal engagement coaching is well suited for leaders just starting out, or for mature leader wanting to explore nuanced aspects of interpersonal communication.
